Funeral

A funeral, cremation or commemoration is often a difficult and sad event.
It includes a feeling that cannot always be described in words, but can perhaps be expressed in music.
Together with the relatives, I look at which songs fit the occasion. Perhaps there are songs that the deceased found very special or that have a special meaning for the relatives.
It is important to express the feeling of sadness and loss in choosing the right musical accompaniment.

Sometimes the relatives have no idea which music fits such an event. Through years of experience, I have gained a good idea of what music is appropriate, which allows me to make all kinds of suggestions regarding songs in different genres (pop, musical, jazz, semi-classical, troubadour, etc.) and languages (English, Dutch, Limburgish, German, French, etc.). Of course, it is always possible to rehearse songs.

The line-up in terms of musicians can be arranged entirely according to your own wishes. The basis is often singing with piano or singing with guitar. This can be supplemented with all kinds of instruments, depending on your musical wishes.

Ultimately, the most important thing is that we create a warm memory through music, so that the relatives can say goodbye to the deceased in a dignified manner.
Here are a number of examples of songs that fit such an event:
